A bit of river rafting in tyre inner tubes at Brathay Hall, Ambleside, Cumbria. Picture this:- Flooded river in March, fast rapids, sit in the inner tube in the water, and lock your legs around the person in front. This creates n 8-person water snake. Set-off down the rapids/white-water for up to a mile! Great fun!!! Yes, its true - I had a beard (sort of) then!
