Dad was an inspirational person for me, and someone that I looked up to. Sadly he died in 1996.

He excelled in his Naval career and tried his best in everything he did. The phrase in the following career history from the MoD - "Character: Very Good Throughout"  - his "Good Conduct Badges" and his Medals is testament.
